Exciting autumn for the globe

August 16, 2018

Before the summer holidays, Kloden presented seven wonderful performances for children, youth and young adults during Kloden i sentrum. Now we are well underway with new projects.

On August 24, we will stream a ten-hour dance installation at Kuben vgs. in Økern. The installation will be shown in a shop window during the Gothenburg Dance and Theater Festival and will be shown on screens in Finland and the Faroe Islands as well as in Norway. Read more about Tysta Danser here.

On September 5 and 6, we will be there when the performance Asphalt Pulse comes to Hovinbyen. The performance is made by Mine Nilay and the Gang. It is about exclusion and otherness and will appear wherever young people go. Read more about Asphalt Pulse here.

On September 18, we will discuss how Kloden and other stakeholders can work together to ensure economic sustainability. This will take place at a gathering organized by Pådriv, a partnership that works for economic, social and environmentally sustainable development in Hovinbyen. Kloden will be a national stage with an international profile, but we are keen to develop Kloden in a way that makes the venue as meaningful as possible for the population of Hovinbyen/Groruddalen, an area that does not yet have a national cultural institution.
