Children and pensioners united in the first Teatermakker pilot
Under The Hedda Festival tested Kloden The theatre project Teatermakker for the first time. With a performance, waffles and conversations, children and pensioners met for a shared performing arts experience that created engagement and new connections across generations.
Performing arts as a democratic force
How can the performing arts strengthen democracy in a time of unrest and growing differences? That was the starting point then Kloden theatre invited a researcher and several cultural actors to a conversation during the theatre festival The Hedda Festival .
Kloden theatre nominated for two Hedda awards
Kloden teater is co-producer of two performances nominated for the Hedda Prize 2026, and we are super proud! The children's performances Oil-Dino-Du and Vesenet are both nominated in the category Best Children's Performance.
Rental in Kloden theatre's new theatre house
Kloden The theatre will open a new theatre building in 2027, with stages, production rooms and office facilities. We are already inviting artists and companies to get in touch to shape the workplace and production place of the future with us.

We are showing "Verden sa ja" by Barske Glæder Produksjoner, Sally from Supernytt has a book launch at FUBIAK, while AKS at two Oslo schools will have an artist visit and the opportunity to create their own artwork for the school they attend.
