Historic day for Norwegian performing arts
Artistic Director at Kloden theater, Kjell Moberg, calls the day historic.
– This is a historic day for Norwegian performing arts. We have good support schemes for producing performing arts, but no premises for production and dissemination. With the realization of Kloden theater, the entire performing arts field will get a huge boost, he says.

Moberg emphasizes that with state support, the theatre can reach even more of the audiences who come to the theatre for the first time, and refers to the UN Convention on Human Rights.
It is enshrined in law that everyone has the right to experience art and culture. Through this award, we can get closer to that goal by offering performances to all groups of the population.
