THE GLOBE IN MONTREAL

September 17, 2018

On November 13, Kloden travels to visit TOHU, a center and venue for contemporary circus in Montréal.

TOHU was built in 2004 on top of a rubbish dump in a district that has been characterized by poverty, social exclusion and conflict. The stage house is part of the largest rehabilitation project in Montreal's history. TOHU works to strengthen the social, cultural and economic development of the district.

We visit TOHU to find inspiration for how Kloden can become an artistic driving force in urban development, contribute in the best possible way to social inclusion and become a relevant and interesting meeting place for as many people as possible.

And not least, we will find out how TOHU has become an environmental lighthouse both in the neighborhood and on the globe in general.
