World premiere: Cockroach
Why is being fat worse than being mean? It's surprising how provocative an overweight person with good self-esteem can be. And it's clear that our culture has developed a basic attitude that being thin is the same as being successful. With Cockroach, Marit Røste wants to wake up a society that is in the process of making things worse when it comes to issues surrounding obesity, overweight and eating disorders.
Showbox - a week of dance and theater for children and youth
Showbox is a festival of performances for young audiences, and this year it is being held for the 18th time! Over the course of a week, Showbox shows over 20 performances on different stages in Oslo, and Kloden teater is one of them.

The Dutch company De Dansers has established itself as one of the most sought-after companies in Europe in recent years. The company has a distinctive style, with live music and contemporary dance at the core of its expression. The group works closely with the audience's first encounter with dance, and is suitable for families, children and young people.

Autumn on the globe!
What are you going to do when the cold is creeping in and the rain is drizzling against the windows? This fall, we have a number of free performances for children, young people and families in Oslo and the surrounding area. We have an exciting program with everything from free rehearsals, open houses and autumn holiday activities.
Oslo incidents: HOOP
Oslohendelser is a series of performative events in Oslo and a collaborative project between TrAP and Kloden. Each year, different artists curate the program and in 2021, dancer and choreographer Mia Habib and dance and sound artist Jassem Hindi programmed five of these events. The sixth, HOOP, takes place on August 19 and 20 this year.
Kloden teater celebrates Queer Culture Year!
In 2022, Norway will celebrate Queer Culture Year. Kloden teater is of course celebrating diversity, and is also extra happy to announce that we will be showing the dance performance Blooming, in the period August 23 - August 26.
