We have participated in the Kulturaren conference

Artistic Director Ådne Sekkelsten participated in the panel discussion "How to create and develop low-threshold arenas that are used by many? What can we learn from libraries?".

The other panelists were Gabrielle Haga from Scenekunstbruket and Reinert Mithassel from Deichman.

Among other things, Mithassel talked about how Deichman has opened its premises at Tøyen and recruited a young audience by placing more emphasis on providing what young people want than on what Deichman wants to provide.

Mithassel advised us to have open doors, so that the theater becomes something more than a place where the audience goes to experience theater, but also a place where young people can be on their own terms.
