Around the kitchen table at Kloden

June 7, 2019

During Kloden i sentrum, we don't just show performances. We also invite you to two kitchen table conversations, one about the climate crisis and one about cross-pressure. Young people sit around a table and discuss, and the audience can ask questions and provide input. The event is free of charge. It will not be streamed on the internet, because we want to create safe spaces for debate and because we advocate respectful face-to-face conversations.

Kitchen Table: Climate crisis

Do you have climate anxiety? You're not the only one. A million species are at risk of extinction. We have about ten years to halve greenhouse gas emissions. What should we do?

Welcome to a conversation between young people - about the climate crisis and the extinction of biodiversity.

The conversation is led by Nora Jungeilges Heyerdahl (19). Heyerdahl is an environmentally committed social debater.

Location: Kloden tent in front of Nationaltheatret.
Time: Tuesday, June 11 at 16:00

Kitchen Table: Krysspress

How do boys and girls experience racism differently? What about queer people?

Welcome to a conversation between young people - about racism and cross-pressure.

Prior to the event, you can see the performance Asphalt pulse - paranoia as hell in the sunset, which among other things addresses the stigmatization of young people with multicultural backgrounds.

The conversation is hosted by Fethawit Hakin. Fethawit is an environmental therapist at Ulsrud vgs, has a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary gender studies, has served on the board of Skeiv verden and sits on the board of Kloden.
