Grief today, forgotten tomorrow? // Rania Iraki
Grief is unpredictable. It comes without warning, and rarely provides a response. In “Grief Today, Forgotten Tomorrow?” Rania Iraki takes the audience into the rough terrain of the five stages of grief – denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance.
Two sorrows are explored side by side: the loss of someone you love, and the weight of belonging to the Palestinian people. A performance that encompasses both the painful, the absurd and the unexpectedly funny.
