Operation Man-days on Kloden theater

Every year on NPD Day, middle and high school students raise money for an incredibly important cause. It is optional to contribute, and you choose what to work on and where to work. This year's NPD campaign supports youth in Kenya and Tanzania in the fight against harmful customs, such as child marriage and female genital mutilation.
This year, Susanne, Jonathan, Mina, Olivia and Liv have chosen to work here at Kloden on the OD day. They have been asked some questions about themselves, and about the theater.
Interview with Susanne
Today Susanne has been working on a Youtube video for Kloden theater.
What is your name, and what school do you go to?
– My name is Susanne and I go to Foss High School.
What do you usually do in your free time?
– Right now I play in a band at Risløkka, and play the piano, but when I was little I used to dance.
Why did you choose to work at Kloden ?
– I chose to work here because I am interested in performing arts and working with media. It's great to be able to work with both here at Kloden .
Had you heard of kloden from before?
– I had barely heard of it. kloden , hadn't heard that much.
Would you recommend other young people to apply for a job here next year?
– Yes, I would recommend everyone to work here, it's a nice place and you get a lot of free food here too.
Interview with Jonathan
Jonathan has worked a little with Susanne, but has also chosen to interview some people.
What is your name, and what school do you go to?
– My name is Jonathan and I go to Fagerborg Junior High School.
What do you usually do in your free time?
– I do athletics at Bislett Stadium, sing in a choir and have private music assignments. I also like to draw.
Why did you choose to work here?
– Syns theatre and such is interesting, and I like taking pictures. I've been in a performance once, at the National Theatre, and I think theatre is fun. I thought it would be good to be able to be involved in media production here.
Had you heard of kloden theater from before?
– No, not at all.
Would you recommend other young people to apply for a job here next year?
– Yes *nods*
Interview with Olivia
Today, Olivia has made some videos on social media, to try to "showcase" the theater.
What is your name, and what school do you go to?
– My name is Olivia and I go to Voldsløkka Junior High School.
What do you usually do in your free time?
– In my free time, I bake, exercise, watch movies and watch Tiktok.
Why did you choose to work here?
– I actually applied for a job here because I needed a job at the Norwegian National Development Agency, but I think theater is exciting. I also wanted to see a little bit about what it was like behind the scenes at the theater.
Had you heard of Kloden theater from before?
– No, hadn't heard of it. kloden at all.
Would you recommend other young people to apply for a job here next year?
– Yes, I would recommend young people to work here at the NPD.
Interview with Liv
Liv and Olivia have worked together on some videos, to showcase Kloden .
What is your name and what school do you go to?
– My name is Liv, and I go to Voldsløkka school (same as Olivia)
What do you usually do in your free time?
– In my free time, I usually hang out with friends, bake, and watch Tiktok.
Why did you choose to work here?
– I think theater and things like that are exciting, and I also chose to apply for a job here because I needed work for Operation Day Work.

– No, I hadn't heard of it. Kloden before.
Would you recommend other young people to apply for a job here next year?
– Yes, I recommend young people to apply for a job here next year, the food here is good and you get it for free :)
Interview with Mina (me)
Today I have written this "case" to highlight how operation day work is here at Kloden .
What is your name and what school do you go to?
– My name is Mina, and I go to Fyrstikkaleen Junior High School (F21).
What do you usually do in your free time?
– In my free time, I like to be creative. I like to knit, sew, paint, draw, etc. This fall I started Kickboxing, so on Tuesdays and Thursdays I go there (it's located at Rommen)
Why did you choose to work here?
– A few weeks before the OD day I started looking for a job. On OD.no I found out that kloden needed some young people to help here with marketing on October 30th. I also thought that theater and stuff would be cool to work in. So yeah, that's why I chose to work here.
Had you heard of Kloden theater from before?
– No, I hadn't heard of it. Kloden before I applied.
Would you recommend other young people to apply for a job here next year?
– Yes, the theater is a very cozy place, with nice people. Part of the job was actually watching a dress rehearsal of a play, which is great fun. I would much rather work here than in a kindergarten or have a cleaning job. You also get free lunch here.
