Open call: KLODEN IN THE CENTER

Do you have a production for children or young people? Do you want to perform it in a tent in central Oslo?

In the summer of 2018, Scenekunstbruket offers and Kloden a week of theatre and dance from the best performing arts companies in Norway in the heart of Oslo. The performance arena is a tent in the square in front of the National Theatre, and the event is held in collaboration with the theatre festival The Hedda Festival . Kloden plans to continue with annual summer screenings from now on.

We therefore invite you to an open call, and we want to hear from performing artists from all over Norway!

• Playing period: 8.6 - 16.6.2018
• The plan is for each company to play one to three days during this period
• Technical conditions:
  • As the performances are shown in tents, the stage size cannot exceed 7 x 7 meters.
  • There will also be some limitations in relation to point fixings in rigging (tissue etc.)

Kloden will be the national stage for children and young people, and a hub for artists and everyone else who is passionate about the performing arts. While we build Kloden , our activities will take place both in the city space, and in collaboration with theater houses in Oslo and across the country. Kloden AS is owned by Norsk scenekunstbruk , and has operating support from Oslo Municipality.
