Kloden The theatre's pillars are professionalism, quality, inclusion and diversity. The audience will be presented with the breadth of the best that is produced for children and young people, while the theatre will contribute to people experiencing a greater diversity of stories and perspectives, and to being aware of who is represented in the performing arts. 

The theatre has in a short time become one of the country's most important programming stages for performing arts for children and youth, and a production site for the independent performing arts field. In parallel with our artistic activities in temporary premises, we will begin construction of the permanent theatre house. Kloden theater in Kabelgata in Oslo, with an estimated opening in 2027. 

Kloden theatre is looking for a structured and proactive communications manager with great execution, good strategic skills and experience with communications work within the arts and culture field. We are looking for someone who is able to see the big picture, with a good overview of the performing arts field and other relevant networks. 

As a communications manager, you must enjoy working strategically, creatively and operationally, and want to create results together with your colleagues.

The Communications Manager will initially report to the HR Manager. The position is part of the administration and working hours will mainly take place during the day, but some weekend and evening work must be expected. 

About the employer

Kloden teater is a programming theater for the performing arts and young people in Oslo. Kloden The theatre presents high-quality Norwegian and international performing arts for children, young people and families.  

We facilitate the production and screening of performances, professional events, artistic projects for and with children and youth in collaboration with professional artists, as well as various types of gatherings for both the local community and the performing arts community. 

Kloden The theatre is located at Økern, at the bottom of Groruddalen and is in the heart of Norway's largest urban development area. We are about to start construction of the theatre building Kloden theater that will accommodate, among other things, two stages, production and rehearsal rooms, a workshop, office facilities for artists and a place where children and young people want to be, to meet, to experience.
