Work at Kloden theater?

Are you between 16 and 22 years old? Do you want to organize events and create a meeting place for young people?

Kloden The theatre is located in Kabelgata in Økern. We are a national stage that shows theatre and dance for children and young people, both from Norway and abroad.

In 2027, we will open a new, large theater house. This will also become a meeting place for young people, where you can be yourself, hang out with friends and experience something new.

We are currently looking for five young people to develop our youth program. Examples of events include concerts, quiz nights and workshops.

If you are interested in events, art, culture, leadership, community and/or marketing, this could be the job for you. You do not need to have work experience to apply. 

Tasks:

• Create safe and inclusive opportunities for young people
• Research and mapping of needs among young people
• Develop, plan and implement activities and events
• Promote events and create content for social media
• Collaborate with staff and other young people
• Take responsibility for your own tasks and smaller projects

Working hours:

• Start date is October 1, 2026. Until the New Year we will meet several times and get to know each other well, eat good food together and go to exhibitions and see performances. This period is unpaid. We will meet 5 times until January.
• From January 2027, the job will be paid. The youth team will start work on developing youth programs in collaboration with us at Kloden theater.
• Working hours may be afternoons, evenings and weekends.
• The workload is approximately 1.5 days per month. The project period lasts from January 2027 to December 2028. Salary by agreement.
