Autumn program

August 6, 2024

What better light in the autumn darkness than good performing arts?

This fall's program includes everything from funny clowns to a children's show about having a hard time at home. The audience gets a reunion with Å leve videre, and we organize our first Bollywood outdoor cinema. The twins Robert Stoltenberg, known from NRK, and Harald Stoltenberg come with a performance based on their latest book!

In other words, there's something for everyone.

Take a closer look at the program below. Welcome to join us!

The clown performance Wow! is non-verbal and a tribute to children's play, spontaneous creativity, captivating silence and presence. After the performance, the audience is invited to come up on stage and play with the clowns: Under the musician's virtuoso playing, silk scarves are thrown in the air, rock rings are danced with and balls are juggled.

The turbo twins - Harald Stoltenberg and Robert Stoltenberg

Target group: From 6 years

Turbotvillingene is a heartwarming story about being a good brother, a good friend and a good person.

Comedian Robert Stoltenberg made his debut in 2022 as a children's book author together with his twin brother Harald Stoltenberg, who has several children's books behind him. Together they have written TURBOTVILLINGENE OG DEN STORE KANONBALLKAMPEN. In June this year, the sequel TURBOTVILLINGENE OG ORDFØRERENS ONDE PLAN was published.

The authors have taken much of the material from their own childhood for the books that have now been turned into a production. The boys move from a block of flats in Oslo to an old house with an outhouse in the countryside. They can't wait to start a new school, but the only thing the school is interested in is dodgeball. They end up in the same class as the school's bully and dodgeball champion, Sølvi. Eventually, dodgeball becomes a matter of life and death.

Robert and Harald play both themselves and the other characters in their books in between reading and narration.

I feel like I'm going to die. Every time.

My heart is pounding, I can't breathe, I just have to get away.

Just because I see a man in a police uniform.

Breathe in, breathe out.

It's not dangerous. There you go, there you go.

It's going well.

Remember how you taught me to breathe like this?
