Ministøy with Fløff – Arvid Ingvarsson & Agnes Hvizdalek
Meet the Fløffs! They are soft, furry and full of color, and they are not quite like anything else in the world. Some children think they resemble birds. Others see rocks, clouds, monsters, animals or maybe an emotion.
So what kind of music suits a creature that is unlike anything we've ever known? At this year's Ultima, you can experience many different artists exploring noise music. The Fløffene have their own variation.
Ministøy is a dance performance for children, with live music on stage. At Kloden theatre meets Fløffene, a landscape of strange sounds, rhythms and timbres created by composer Arvid Ingvarsson and vocal artist Agnes Hvizdalek.
Agnes uses her voice as an instrument, and can whisper, crackle, whistle and scrape. Drummer Arvid builds on her sounds with rhythms and sound patterns that repeat, but never quite in the same way. The music follows the Fløffenes' movements and changes with them.
Maybe you do too.

- The costumes are made from hundreds of soft threads. The bright colors make each fluff easy to recognize.
- Choreographer Yaniv Cohen about the performance: "In a time that often feels divided and unsafe, Fløff is my way of bringing something good into the world. I hope the performance gives children the freedom to be curious and playful, and to discover that meeting someone who is different from themselves can be something beautiful, not something scary."
- Adults who enjoy the music in Fløff can explore several parts of Ultima's noise initiative. Read more here.
