IN ALL THE DAYS OF THE WEST - Elvekompaniet

Date: July 5 - 7

Target audience: Children and adults from 5 years

Free trial performance!

Welcome to the Wild West, a non-functioning society far from anywhere. When the people of the West disagree, it's a duel, but since they don't have guns, it's a shit fight and an argument. The most important thing is not to end up in jail.

One day, the Cowboy returns to the West after living in the big city for many years. The other people in the West no longer consider the Cowboy to be a worthy member of the local community, so when he wants to rejoin the gang, there are problems. What's more, water resources in the West are becoming scarce, so the community's delicate balance is in danger of collapsing!

Ubuntu (work view) - Guro Sibeko

Date: July 10-11

Target group: From 15 years

Does it make sense to help old ladies who are victims of purse-snatching regardless of their ethnic background? Is it racist to call a group racist? Can stealing makeup be considered a revolutionary act? Is it more or less acceptable to attack police dogs than racist and annoying neighbors? How do you do it guerrilla-style? And can you get away with makeup theft and guerrilla-style murder if you just exploit people's racist prejudices to the maximum?

The text is a work in progress, and this work screening is part of helping author Guro Sibeko further in the process. It's an eight-day pilot project that we hope you will come to see the result of - and feel free to give your feedback in the post-screening discussion.

Dragen - Tigerstadsteatret and Turnéteatret i Trøndelag

Date: August 31

Target audience: From 6 years (a strong performance not recommended for children under 6 years)

Something big, angry and scary lives in Lilli's house. She never has friends over, because in her house you have to be very quiet so you don't wake the sleeper. A dragon lives in Lilli's house.

Gro Dahle's book Dragen (The Dragon ) is transformed into captivating theater for children when Tigerstadsteatret and Turnéteatret i Trøndelag join forces to bring this important story to the stage. The Dragon is about having a hard time at home and having to be very brave even though you are a child.

Oslo Culture Night: Å LEVE VIDERE - Rimfrost produksjoner

Date: September 13

Target group: Youth

In the monologue performance Å LEVE VIDERE we meet the sister who was on Utøya with her brother. She was 17, he was 23. Her brother never returned home. She lives on, but the experiences from the terrorist attack become traumas that affect every part of her life.

I feel like I'm going to die. Every time.

My heart is pounding, I can't breathe, I just have to get away.

Just because I see a man in a police uniform.

Breathe in, breathe out.

It's not dangerous. There you go, there you go.

It's going well.

Remember how you taught me to breathe like this?

The event is part of Oslo Culture Night. Tickets will be released on September 1. More info can be found here.
