TROLL – Straume and Simonsen

The physical comedy TROLL has been a huge international success and now it is finally in Oslo!

The performance has been shown in Los Angeles, Australia, Edinburgh, Brighton, London and Warsaw, among other places, and is now in Oslo and Kloden theater for tour.

We meet two trolls who have come to Kloden theater and find themselves on stage for the first time. After years of prejudice, defamation, and exclusion from the non-troll community, they want to tell their side of the story.

TROLL is a physical comedy for adults, inspired by folklore and is a mix of physical theater, storytelling, scapegoats, music, clowns, long noses and a good dose of nonsense.

The duo Marie Kallevik Straume and Anna Marie Simonsen were described as “queens of the ridiculous” in the wee REVIEW after their performance at the Edinburgh Fringe, the world’s largest theatre festival. TROLL received 4 out of 5 stars in The Guardian and was listed as one of the 50 best performances at the festival in both The Guardian and The Telegraph.
