Safarium - Landing

In Safarium, the audience gets to experience both power and sensibility up close through the dancers' sensory exploration of space and basket embraces! The performance takes place in a unique and tactile landscape shared by the dancers and the children. Through the different situations of the performance, the space is transformed, and eventually the children are invited to join in and explore the scenography.

Safarium was produced in 2014, and has since its premiere been performed nearly 200 times. The production has toured with The Cultural Rucksack in Oslo, Vestfold, Telemark, Akershus/Viken, Østfold, Trøndelag Rogaland and Oppland, and has been performed at Hjertnes kulturhus in Sandefjord, Dansens Hus in Oslo, Thy Teater in Thisted in Denmark, RAS in Sandnes, as well as at festivals such as Markedet for scenekunst in Sandefjord, Sand-festivalen in Kristiansand, Multiplié dance festival in Trondheim, Kortreist dansefestival in Inderøy, UNGI festival in Reykjavik and Imagine Childres Festival at South Bank Senter in London.
