PULS - Cirka Teater

Man, machine and magical noise!

Imagine coming across a huge cube! A massive lump of rust, metal and scrap. Like a junk heap from the past. Then the cube comes to life, and suddenly you're caught up in a series of strange, incomprehensible events. What does the cube want with you? Is there something controlling it? And last but not least: will you ever escape...?

Puls raises questions related to the human footprint on the earth. Humans have a great urge to create, build and invent. In the pursuit of more, we leave behind large amounts of debris. But what happens to humans when confronted with the results of what we have created? Do we really have control over what we create? Who is really in charge?

Puls is a magical and suspenseful performance. Through wordless, physical theater and visually spectacular effects, it draws the audience into a new and absurd world, a world where it is allowed to interpret freely, without fixed answers. This is a performance you rarely see - full of wonder, surprises and energy!

Puls is co-produced with Teatret Vårt and premiered at Ulsteinvik on September 17, 2022.
