Milla's Seagull's Cry – Luna Theatre

What do you do when life is completely upside down?

Do you surrender? Do you close the island? Do you fight back?

Milla and Mamma have moved into a "box".

Mom's crisis is so big that it drags Milla along with her cravings.

Why doesn't anyone help Mom?

Where is there room for Milla's feelings when Mom's takes up so much space,

How is she supposed to figure out where she herself begins, when she doesn't know where Mom ends?

Dad has moved into a penthouse with his new girlfriend and they are having a baby,

so there's no room for Milla's feelings there either.

A seagull becomes the one who gives Milla a bird's eye view and helps her find the hidden treasure of the shack town: Community!

With lots of humor and a dose of magical realism, MILLAS MÅKESKRIK tackles anger, grief and taboo and helps dandelions grow out of the asphalt. All this difficult and chaotic and messy, that's life!
