Welcome to a work screening with Spitfire Dance Theatre at Vollebekk produksjonsrom!

Spitfire Dance Theatre explores the power of football as art and a bridge out of bad choices through the performance MESSI.

Artistic director of the company, Petr Bohac, has expressed: "If I hadn't played football, I would never have become a director. Football is the only reason why I chose to work with art."

MESSI is being developed simultaneously in Oslo, Prague and Nairobi and is based on the story of Martin Kibera Gakonde, who sought refuge from a life on the streets by cheating. Gakonde himself will take part in the rehearsals at Vollebekk.
