Meg, Meg & Meg - Th'Line

Meg, Meg & Meg was played on June 13, 2018 at 12:30 and 16:30

Four masked characters who are actually one and the same person, seeking acceptance from each other and the audience. The characters in the performance are characterized by the culture of achievement and try to be an elevated version of themselves. One moment they feel cool, the next they feel stupid. A raw and fun dance performance with glitter, muscle suits and Mexican wrestling masks.

Th'Line has developed a distinctive expression that mixes the beautiful and the ugly, the stupid and the cool in confrontational ways. There is a lot of comedy in their cross-genre expression, and the company is known for inclusive and unpretentious performances.

Th'Line was established in 2006 and is run by dance artists Kristina Søetorp and Ida Wigdel, both educated at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. The company works with dance and choreography in various sizes and formats. They have shown their work at ILTWT in Amsterdam, and here at home at venues such as Dansens hus, Sentralen, KHIO, Ravnedans, Heddaprisen, Oslo Fjordfest and Dansefestival Barents. Th'Line choreographs for theater and was this year's dance ambassadors in 2017. They also make dance films, and some of the company's ingenious video clips have been shown on Japanese and American TV.
