In collaboration with Oslo Municipality's art collection and Mia Habib Productions, we have the pleasure of inviting you to HOW at Økern.

HOW is an installation, an exhibition and a dance performance created by Mia Habib Productions, in collaboration with local construction students, artists and architects. The dance performance takes place September 22-24 and will travel from Økern Torgvei 6 to Østre Aker vei 25. On the way, the audience will encounter a photo exhibition, wooden structures and sculptural elements placed on the grass at Økernveien 145, and on Østre Aker vei 25.

The photo exhibition documents a workshop where 12 construction students - construction agents - worked with Mia Habib productions and Counterfactual in 2021. At the workshop, the construction agents learned about art, architecture and building techniques, and created sculptural versions of themselves in wood. The wooden sculptures are displayed here, together with the photos, and serve as the construction agents' proxies at Økern.

The performance on September 22 concludes with a vernissage for the exhibition and a panel discussion.
