With 12 hands, 6 bodies and 2 guitars, De Dansers invites you to a critically acclaimed dance concert.

In Hold Your Horses, we see hands grasping, mistaking, touching, taking off, falling down and plucking guitar strings. We see passion and distance. We see the passage of time. We see people, sometimes close together, sometimes infinitely far away. We don't see horses, although we feel them at times.

Hold Your Horses is about the urge to hold on to something or someone, in a world that is becoming increasingly elusive. The show's six performers give the performance a unique life with commitment and musicality - without losing its human sensitivity. Despite the name. As one body, the dancers move in a continuous flow, driven by the music performed on stage.

Hold Your Horses was partly made in Berlin and premiered in Berlin and Utrecht in September/October 2021. After a theater tour in the Netherlands, Hold Your Horses has performed as a location performance at various (international) festivals in the summer of 2022.
