Heddadagene: NOW - Pre-study theater
Kloden teater are proud to present the performance NOW during Heddadagene!
In the performance NOW we meet 11 students from Forstudium teater who are thrown into their own future. They alternate between being here and now, together with the audience in the actual theater space - and acting out scenes from the future as adults with a lived life behind them. With enthusiasm, curiosity and a fear of the unknown, they dictate a possible future, where major events and life choices are played out in a sincere search for deeper meaning.
Playwright Demian Vitanza was awarded the national Ibsen Prize for NOW in 2022, and the jury's statement included the following:
"NOW awakens us and moves us, showing how both true theater art and lived life grow out of the naked present."
NÅ is the graduation production for this year's cohort at Forstudium teater, and is directed by Vilde Johannessen and Sebastian Skytterud Myers from Feil Teater.
