The Hedda Festival : The Difficult Room – A Conversation About the Performance LIVING ON

A conversation with director Nina Wester, dramaturg and artistic director of Rimfrost Productions Kristine Myhre Tunheim and Artistic Director on Kloden Theatre Ådne Sekkelsten.

In the performance Å leve videre we meet the sister who was on Utøya together with her brother. She was 17 years old, he was 23. Her brother never came home again. She lives on, but the experiences of the terrorist attack become traumas that affect every part of her life. At the same time, she witnesses Norwegian society becoming more polarized, and the perpetrator's extreme attitudes taking hold in more and more people.

With this production, the company Rimfrost Produksjoner welcomes us into the difficult room. And it is this space that we want to talk more about. Together with Nina Wester, who has written and directed the production, and Kristine Myhre Tunheim, dramaturge and artistic director of Rimfrost Productions, we will focus on the artistic process behind the production and how the ensemble has worked to convey the vulnerable and strong stories to a youth audience, who do not necessarily have memories of this event, which for many is a national trauma.

The conversation is led by Artistic Director Dear Sekkelsten, Kloden theater.

The conversation will take place outside Pilotscenen. Tickets are not needed, just show up.
