Biocentric theatre from a New York-based puppetry company!
Wakka Wakka is back in Oslo! The award-winning theater company based in Oslo and New York presents the first part of their Animalia trilogy at Pilotscenen. The company is known for its lavish and entertaining puppet theater performances for youth and adults.
Animal R.I.O.T. (Animal Resurgence In Our Time) is a series of performances by renowned anonymous theatre artists and puppeteers, led by The Fantastic Mr. Fox (founder and director of Animal R.I.O.T.).
Bioeccentrism, consciousness, anthropomorphism, mimesis and metamorphosis are central to the project, which focuses on humans and wild animals. Through puppetry, song, dance, communication exercises and animal perspective workshops, The Fantastic Mr. Fox hopes to help improve contact with other living organisms.
Duration: approx. 60 min. For youth and adults. Mostly English is spoken.
