SV fights for Kloden

The Socialist Left Party (SV) presented their alternative state budget for 2025 on Thursday morning. They have included 15 million in investment funds for the construction of the new theater house. Kloden theater and 3 million for operation in 2025 in the current premises.

– This is very good news. Now the Labor Party must listen to their bedrock in Groruddalen and Oslo. Oslo Labor Party is doing like SV and emphasizing the importance of Kloden theater for children and youth in Groruddalen, and for the performing arts field in the country, says Artistic Director Ådne Sekkelsten.

If SV is successful, operations in the current premises will be secured in 2025, and construction of the permanent theater building can also begin in a few months. See the booklet at the bottom of the article.

Negotiations on the state budget, between the Socialist Party of Norway (SV) and the governing parties, the Labour Party and the Centre Party, begin on Monday. The negotiations will end with a recommendation from the Finance Committee on 29 November, and a decision in the Storting in December.
