Proposal for 1 million for Kloden in the Oslo budget

September 27, 2017

Kloden applied for operating funds from the City of Oslo, and today, when the budget proposal was presented, we see that the City Council proposes that Kloden receives NOK 1 million in operating funds. Very exciting!

Among other things, they say this about the globe:

Kloden is planned as a programming stage house with children and young people as its core audience in Oslo. The aim is to establish a stage where young audiences can experience varied, high-quality performing arts, with workshops where young people can develop artistically based on their own background, interests and talent. The initiative can be seen in the context of the City of Oslo's increased focus on culture for children and young people, where a new strategy for children's theater (performing arts for children and young people) is a key element.
