Go Figure!: Transport: Departure – Ljubljana Puppet Theater (Slovenia)

Transport: Departure is based on the true story of the Fužir family from Prevalje, who lost their home in a flood. Through audio recordings of their testimonies, we hear the water cracking the walls, and the current breaking through human arrogance and reckless development with unstoppable force.

On stage, a dense, intimate space opens up where miniatures, models and live sound form an intersection between realism and fiction. The details vibrate; houses, light, water and voices intertwine into a landscape that breathes and breaks apart at the same time.

The ecological theme is concrete and corporeal, manifesting itself as loss, as movement, as fragility. The audience is drawn into an intimate experience of nature's relentless power, where human structures appear temporary and fragile in an ecosystem that always finds its way back to balance.
