Briefly about the project:

Drag as an Ecological Practice is a performance that examines how drag can be used as a means to connect body and identity to ecological challenges. Four performances are developed in the face of four different landscapes, each linked to an ecological crisis; Østmarka (forest landscape), Lofoten (coastal and sea landscape), Jostedalsbreen (arctic landscapes) and Trøndelag (agricultural landscape). The project uses drag as a method to experiment with new relationships between body, nature and surroundings. Local young people between the ages of 16–20 are involved as co-creators in the project.

The project is supported by Danseløftet Sparebankstiftelsen and the Arts Council of Norway.
Co-producer of Kloden theater.
Many thanks to Rom for Dans for the loan of the room!
