The promise of revolution - Voices from Palestine - Counter ideas

All ticket proceeds from this performance go to The Freedom Theater of Palestine.

THE REVOLUTION'S PROMISE is a strong depiction of life under occupation, where censorship and injustice play a central role. The play is equally about the love of life, art and freedom.

THE PROMISE OF THE REVOLUTION tells the story of The Freedom Theater in Jenin in the West Bank of Palestine and includes the experiences of famous Palestinian artists. It is a tribute to those who refuse to be muzzled by the occupation's attempts to break down the resistance through censorship, imprisonment and torture.

The artwork "Tatreez" (embroidery based on the Palestinian pattern tradition) by Vibeke Harper is part of the scenography.
