After three sold-out nights and standing ovations at Dansens Hus, the Pinocchio paradox is now coming to Voldsløkka Scene! Prepare yourself for an evening of raw rock and powerful dance that will sweep you away from the first second. You won't want to miss this .

Five musicians and five dancers share a stage covered from floor to ceiling in Persian rugs. They play and dance, shout and sweat – in a high-energy performance that many would call suggestive.

Since suggestion is something that happens involuntarily , the performance explores a never-so-small nut:

“If Pinocchio says, ‘My nose is growing now!’, a paradox arises. For if his nose is growing, he is telling the truth and the nose can no longer grow, but if it is not, he is lying and it must grow. This is how the Pinocchio paradox addresses the paradox of performing arts: When the audience willingly and voluntarily sits down in the hall, can they actually be suggested, influenced from outside, without being aware of it?”

Explosive stage energy

With large and explosive movements, the dancers give the stage an almost electric energy. This is further fueled by the band Undergrünnen, who serve up their mix of 60s psychedelia, afrobeat, jazz, rock and minimalist new wave with raw stage energy.

This is how the Pinocchio paradox becomes an explosion of sound and movement. Will you let yourself be carried away?
