Meet Kloden – Kloden theater
School performances. The cultural school bag welcomes 6th graders to Kloden !
Kloden The theatre is a place for the performing arts and young people in Oslo. The theatre is located on Økern opposite Kuben VGS in Kabelgata.
The day of Kloden is divided into two parts and starts with the performance " Into the performance!".
In the performance! is a symbiosis of a theater workshop and an interactive performance. Led by two performers, the students are included in the performance and get to try themselves as actors, directors and musicians. Together we create the story of a girl who traveled by boat to America 100 years ago. Using simple tools, the students get to experience for themselves what it takes to create a full-fledged theater performance. Who knew that it was possible to cross the Atlantic Ocean with just a sheet, some music and a paper boat?
After lunch, students get to know each other better. Kloden Theatre, the surrounding area and our future plans. They will also be introduced to the performing arts and the role and function of theatre in society. Actors Seda Witt and Ingeborg Larsen will talk about the theatre's location in the city and its role in local development. Finally, the students will draw their own dream theatre.
