Kaleidoscope – Shi Pratt

In the dance performance Kaleidoscope , the little ones are invited into a sensual and exciting universe. The performance takes the audience on a journey that explores texture, light, colors and sounds in an imaginative way. When the senses meet, magic happens! Colors, movements, live music, sounds, singing and speech merge into a sensual whole. The three dancers welcome children and parents to become part of the performance, through both sound and movement.

The performance takes place in a safe and inclusive room with subdued lighting and gentle sound.

" Kaleidoscope engages in poetic dialogue with the little ones," writes critic Maren Ørstavik in Scenekunst :

“The dancers lead the way, but the atmosphere is inclusive. (…) The dancers are able to respond to each child’s needs, and they get a response themselves. One by one, the children crawl out from their cushions and laps, and soon there are far more toddlers than dancers in the circle.”

Target group: The performance is adapted for everyone, regardless of needs, and is especially suitable for children aged 0–3 years and audiences with neurovariations.
