GoFigure! Rock me baby - Solli/Elle
Five grown men dance, sing and play catchy new rock songs in a new groundbreaking and fun performance for a very young audience (0-5 years) with parents - is it possible? YES! It is.
Rock me Baby is a new dance-theater-music production for the youngest children aged 0-5 years by Øystein Elle /Capto Musicae and Karstein Solli Productions. Solli and Elle have previously created several productions for young children that have been very well received, reviewed and performed both nationally and internationally.
With a band on stage, the performance is full of musical joy and stylistic expressions from the world of rock. Adults and young children get to experience and take part in what art for the youngest can be. The performance takes place in a safe environment and of course completely within an acceptable decibel level for both young and old!
The colorful and fun "rock costumes" are made by fashion and costume designer Kjell I. Nordstöm. Nordstöm, who is well known to most people after NRK's blockbuster Maskorama, where he created the spectacular characters. A hand-picked male ensemble with a solid background in dance, theater and music invites young and old alike into a unique universe.
