FUCK IT - a sick Norwegian performance - at Rommen scene

"It's typically Norwegian to be good," said Gro Harlem Brundtland in 1992. But what would Gro say now to a tired, small generation who, rather than feeling like Oddvar Brå, feel like the stick that broke?

In the performance we meet Lisa the punk and Jon the halling dancer.

Together, the awkward couple embark on a journey into the mountains where contemporary meets tradition and harmonica meets synth in search of the Norwegian folk soul. Here they encounter goblins and trolls, but also the oil adventure, the Oslo Agreement, "the ordinary Norwegian", mineral extraction at the bottom of the sea and much more. No one knows where the journey will end, and it's hard to know who is really helping whom. But the story takes the temperature of what it means to be human and how we choose to help shape our society, or choose not to do so at all.
