CODA: Dancer scores in Oslo #2 - A working tour at Voldsløkka Scene
In collaboration with CODA Oslo International Dance Festival we show "Dancer scores in Oslo #2 - A working tour" at Voldsløkka Scene.
Get a unique insight into the choreographic process of Finnish choreographer Janina Rajakangas, and her scores from the performance 'Dancer'.
For the second year in a row, a select group of dancers from Dissimilis and X-Ray will meet Finnish choreographer Janina Rajakangas and dancers Hanna Heino and Rinja Sartolahti from Helsinki.
During a three-day workshop at this year's CODA festival, professional and non-professional dancers will use Rajakanga's scores (instructions for movement) from the performance 'Dancer' as a starting point.
The audience is invited to a work display where the dancers' rhythms and movements merge into an exciting polyphony. In addition to the physical presentation of the work from the workshops, there will be an introduction and post-show discussion with the choreographer and performers.
As an audience member, you have the chance to get a unique insight into the work of developing a piece that tries to meet the needs of a neurodiverse group of dancers.
