Salamatu "Sally" Kamara makes her debut with the book Sally's First School Day , which she co-wrote with author and publisher Øyvind Helland. The book is written for children aged 5-8.
There will be a reading of the book and an opportunity to ask questions to the authors - or get an autograph if anyone wishes.
About the book
Sally's First Day of School is primarily an entertaining book for 5-8 year olds, but it also strikes a blow for important messages such as that children are children, and that it is okay to be different, have a hard time, and make mistakes.
The book tells with warmth and humor about friendship, expectations, accidents and courage, so that children laugh and learn good values, and adults get a good aha experience.
