AROUND THE KITCHEN TABLE AT KLODEN
12. June 2019
During Kloden i sentrum we do not just show performances. We also invite you to two kitchen table conversations, one on climate crisis, and one on racism. Young people gather around a table and discuss, and the audience can contribute with questions and input. The event is free. It will not be streamed on the Internet, because we want to create safe spaces for debate and because we believe in respectful conversation face to face.
KITCHEN TABLE: CLIMATE CRISIS
Do you have climate anxiety? You’re not alone. One million species are at risk of extinction. We have approx. ten years on halving greenhouse gas emissions. What should we do?
Welcome to a conversation between young people – about the climate crisis and the eradication of species.
The conversation is led by Nora Jungeilges Heyerdahl (19). Heyerdahl is an environmentally engaged social debater.
Location: The Kloden tent in front of the National Theater.
Time: Tuesday, June 11, 4:00 p.m.
KITCHEN TABLE: RACISM
How do boys and girls experience racism differently? How about LGBT+?
Welcome to a conversation between young people – about racism.
On the same date as this event, you can see the performance Asfaltpuls (Asphalt Pulse), which among other things thematises the stigmatisation of youth from a multicultural background.
The conversation is led by Fethawit Hakin. Fethawit is an environmental therapist at Ulsrud highschool.
Location: The Kloden tent in front of the National Theater.
Time: Saturday, June 15, 1:00 p.m.
Welcome!
