KLODEN’S FIRST ARTISTIC COUNCIL

– I am proud to announce Kloden’s very first artistic council, said Ådne Sekkelsten, CEO at Kloden. – This is a highly competent group whith broad experience from the performing arts field. The council will be led by Kloden’s artistic director Kjell Moberg. This is an all-star team!
Kloden’s artistic council will contribute in developing Kloden’s artistic profile and ensure the highest possible quality in programming and projects aiming to develop the industry.

 

Kjell Moberg

Moberg has been director and artistic director for the theatre company New International Encounter (NIE) since 2001. NIE holds numerous awards and have been touring the world for years. From 2012 to 2016, Moberg was artistic director at Scenekunst Østfold. He teaches dramaturgy, acting and direction at various institutions in Norway and abroad.

Deise Faria Nunes

Nunes has a MA in Theater Studies from The University of Oslo. She is a project developer, dramaturg and writer. Nunes is artistic director for the company Golden Mirrors Arts Norway. She has been project developer at Nordic Black Theater, as well as founder and project manager for ACTS Laboratory for Performance Practices. Nunes was member of the committee for theater in the Norwegian Arts Council 2016–2018, she is member of the council at The Norwegian Children’s Book Institute (2016–2020) and advisor at Nordic Culture Fund 2019–2020.

Mia Habib

Habib’s work includes performing arts productions, exhibitions, lectures, teaching, mentoring and curating. She holds a BA in choreography from the Oslo Academy of the Arts and a MA in conflict resolution and negotiation from Tel Aviv University. Her performances have been co-produced by a number of institutions across Europe.

Kristofer Blindheim Grønskag

Grønskag is a playwright and has taught at several universities and colleges. He has written a number of plays for both young audiences and adults. His work is translated into ten languages. Grønskag was associated artist at Dramatikkens hus 2014–2015 and is member of the performing arts group Propellen Teater in Trondheim.

Nils Johnson

Johnson is an actor and former theater director. He is a graduate from the National Academy of Theatre and has been an actor at Nordland Teater (1980–81), Trøndelag Teater (1989–01) and Hålogaland Teater from 1982-89, and again as theater director from January 2001 to December 2008. Johnson currently works at The National Theater.

 

Mehda Zolfaqari

Zolfaqari is a storyteller and member of Fortellerhuset, Norway’s oldest oral narrative group. As a storyteller, she often brings out unknown sources, stories and perspectives. In a world where especially religious texts have been interpreted by men, Mehda has been concerned with femail perspectives in her storytelling. She has previously worked at The Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK), including the children’s radio and the Culture News.
